We hope that you and your family are staying healthy and well during this lockdown period. Be sure that you are getting yourself and your family tested, with even the mildest of symptoms to stay safe.
Due to this lockdown period Week 1 of Term 3 will begin with Remote Learning from Home. Learning from home website available for parents and students at Bossley Learning from home hub. Utilise the Bossley Learning from home hub to access information on Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Classroom and the Student Portal.
All events and excursions will be postponed until we resume to face to face learning.
Senior Arrangements: Senior students, in Years 11 and 12, will be following their daily timetable. Lessons will begin promptly at 8.40am. Before this, students are encouraged to check their Sentral portal for daily notices and open their student email for any important notifications or announcements. Work will be posted on Google Classroom for students to complete and links to Zooms/Microsoft Teams (MS Teams) will be posted for students to join for live lessons. Teachers will be providing a mixture of Zoom/MS Teams and Google Classroom work and monitoring suitable and manageable workloads. Year 12 students with major projects are to remain in contact with their teachers for specific information about on-site activities.
Junior Arrangements: Junior students will be following the Learning From Home timetable that has been created. Literacy and English: Activities have been placed on English class Google Classrooms for students to work through. Reading a novel: Each student should have a novel to read. Reading via online sites via Wattpad is approved. Students wishing to read via an audiobook or podcast are also encouraged to do so. Mathematics: All students in Years 7-10 have been previously provided with login details to Education Perfect and tasks have been allocated by Mathematics staff for students to complete.
