The Bossley Park High library is a well stocked and resourced facility that can be utilised in many ways.

Borrowing

Students need to have a current Library /ID card to borrow books and equipment, they will be issued with one at the start of their schooling or can purchase a replacement card for $5 at any time from the Library staff.

The Library stock a large range of sports equipment such as Footballs which are available to borrow for lunchtime games. Simply ask at the front counter.

Technology

Staff may give permission for students to borrow laptops from the library during class time, but must be returned at the end of each lesson, as they can be booked in advanced by other classes.

Desktop computers are also available within the Library and may also be booked in advance by staff for a class lesson, however, if they are free, individual students may have access to them.

Printing

Students may make use of the library photocopier for a small fee. It does print in black and white or full colour sizes A4 and A3. However, students are encouraged not to leave printing of assessments to the last minute, as the Library may need to be closed due to exams or special events on rare occasions.

Study periods

Senior students who attend TAFE or other training courses may have study periods on their timetable, during these times you should get your name marked off and remain to be supervised in the library. You will have access to all of the libraries facilities for your private study.
