The school is recognised for its comprehensive curriculum including high potential and gifted programs. Extensive extra-curricular activities allow students to excel in sporting and cultural pursuits and opportunities for participation and development in leadership are provided. Additionally, our afterschool tutoring provides students with further support in their learning.
Bossley Park High School fosters a culture of high expectations for staff and students. We are committed to ensuring students are Safe, Respectful Learners and maintain correct uniform standards. A key focus area of this is to unearth student talent and develop their potential.
The school provides alternate educational opportunities that are offered by TAFE, school-based apprenticeships and traineeships, and community agencies to provide a variety of educational pathways that cater for individual needs and aspirations. An important feature of our school is the support that is offered to each child, with special programs addressing the learning requirements of students with specific needs.
At Bossley Park High School, we promote that all students have a right to learn and a responsibility to learn. We are a ‘Positive Behaviours for Learning’ school and promote this as a foundation block in our school culture. We are well known in the community for our strong wellbeing initiatives and comprehensive discipline policy which support all students in their development as an individual and as a student, so their potential is realised.
We have a strong commitment to maintaining an attractive school environment and providing excellent facilities. We promote and have maintained strong community support with parents playing an active and supportive role in the school.
